The future of the field of ecological restoration will depend on new and emerging researchers, practitioners, and leaders of #GenerationRestoration striving to create a resilient, adaptive, socially just, and equitable future. This Special Feature is designed to alleviate barriers faced by doctoral students, graduate students, and early career researchers to presenting research and engaging in outreach, and elevate research that provides insight into the advances, challenges, and lessons in ecosystem restoration science in landscapes.
