Description

This agreement is valid for one year from the date of the payment receipt.

SER Responsibilities

SER will:

  • Conduct the program alignment review within two weeks of the receipt of payment;
  • Recognize that graduates of the degree program have met the knowledge requirements necessary to receive the CERPIT designation as outlined in the alignment review agreement;
  • Promote and highlight the academic institution’s degree program on the SER academic listing page;
  • Notify the academic institution if there are any changes to the CERPIT knowledge requirements; and
  • Promote and advertise the SER CERP program.

Academic Institution Responsibilities

The academic institution will:

  • Provide the degree program course requirements and any relevant supporting information (syllabus course descriptions) to SER to facilitate the alignment review;
  • Provide qualified and experienced instructors to teach the required degree courses;
  • Notify SER of changes to the degree program requirements or if there are significant content changes to the required courses, and submit a syllabus, if necessary, for review to update alignment with SER CERP standards;
  • Inform its students that only those courses in which the student obtains a grade of “C” or higher will count toward the CERPIT designation; and
  • Promote and advertise the SER CERP program.

General Provisions

  1. SER and the academic institution may use the other party's name or logo in published materials (e.g., website and catalog) to reference this agreement or contact information/links to the other's party subject to each organization’s respective logo use policy.
  2. Content and text of all promotional information must be approved by each party prior to release.
  3. Neither party to this agreement has exclusive rights of the other to any opportunities being pursued. Neither party may bind the other in any way and this agreement does not limit the right of either party to pursue other opportunities.
  4. All efforts expended by the parties pursuant to advertising and promotion are rendered voluntarily, and each party bears the cost of its own efforts.
