Donate Now to Support Our Future Leaders!

Dear Colleague,

Students around the world are conducting groundbreaking research, taking on ambitious projects, founding their own organizations and implementing ecological restoration efforts. These bright, inquisitive, young professionals are the future leaders in our field

To ensure these emerging professionals can share their inspiring approaches to restoration, we've created a scholarship fund to help send the best and brightest students and emerging professionals to the SER 2017 World Conference in Brazil. But to really make this work, we need your help.

A gift of $25, $50, $100 or the amount of your choosing will enable SER to build this fund. Your support will provide our students the resources they need to help defray the cost of registration, airfare, room and board.

Our World Conference will enable these students to meet, interact with and learn from current leaders and experts -- an opportunity they might not have without your financial support. They'll attend sessions and field trips where they can discuss, see and address change in the future of restoration, while also sharing their fresh approaches and creative solutions to restoration challenges.

Scholarships will range from $500-1,500 depending on need, diversity, and qualifications. Scholarships will help defray the cost of registration, airfare, room and board. The number of students we can sponsor depends entirely on the generosity of our members!

As I've attended our chapter conferences, I've been impressed by the caliber and quality of student presentations and posters. I've also been inspired by their enthusiasm and energy. If we give them a chance, we'll see an amazing return on our investment. And the connections they'll make at Brazil 2017 will only hasten their ability to make significant contributions and lifelong connections.

As you prioritize your year-end giving, I hope we can count on you for a donation to the SER2017World Conference Student Scholarship Fund. Your support will inspire these bright, inquisitive young professionals to move the field forward in a time when ecological restoration has never been more important.
