<p>In some circles in the western US, the preference for establishing natives is to minimize use of amendments. Have you evaluated the benefits of various amendments (standard fertilizer, organic amendments, slow release fertilizers, etc.) in your studies, and do you have recommendations?</p>

<description><![CDATA[Todd's reply:<br /><br />We are currently investigating the current levels of amendments used in the mining situations here in Western Australia. Mainly fertiliser and gypsum are spread prior to seeding occurring. However, I cannot provide any further comments here at the moment as the research is still underway. A PhD student, Ms Amber Bateman, has just commenced this research.]]></description>
