Mainstreaming Ecological Restoration in freshwater ecosystems: insights from law, practice and research around the world

A global suite of presentations regarding the current and ideal future state of ecological and ecosystem restoration of inland and coastal waters, including practical means to incorporate restoration standards and the restorative continuum into regional and global policy priorities to achieve water-related SDGs. The side-event will focus on building synergies with the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and include an interactive dialog with the audience.
