Through presentations, panel conversations, exhibits and networking among peers and colleagues, this conference will allow for the exchange of ideas and experiences that encourages continuing research and enhances learning and networking among restoration professionals.
Conference with concurrent sessions featuring a variety of speakers representing academic, government and the restoration industry. A request for presentations was issued late in 2017 and abstracts are due on March 1. Once a the conference program has been finalized, the detailed agenda can be provided to SERP for review. This will not be available until mid-April. The opening general session will feature the following speakers: Dave Rosgen, Wildlands Hydrology, Palmer Hough, US EPA Region 4, Eve Brantley, Auburn University, Brian Bledsoe, University of Georgia, and Chuck Flink, Greenways Inc. This nationally recognized panel of experts will discuss lessons learned from three decades of stream restoration and they will outline future challenges of the industry.
