Call for Papers for the 11th Annual Conference
Abstracts are currently being accepted for the 11th Annual Texas SER Conference to be held on August 18-20, 2006 in Hunt, Texas at Heart of the Hills Camp and Conference Center on the beautiful Guadalupe River. Presentations will be on Saturday and Sunday. The conference social will be held on Saturday night.
Presentation topics are open to all areas of restoration. Texas SER welcomes relevant abstracts and proposals from all disciplines, backgrounds and experience levels.
Presenters should be prepared for a 15-minute talk with an additional 5 minutes for questions and answers. Longer talks (20 to 30 minutes) may be accepted if space permits. Please practice your presentation to ensure that your presentation fits within the 15-minute time limit, or make arrangements for a longer talk. Time limits will be strictly enforced to keep the conference on schedule. We expect a diverse audience and papers should include a brief background.
Begin each abstract or proposal with a title followed by the name and organizational affiliation of each author with the presenting author’s name underlined. Complete contact information for the corresponding author is needed and should include mailing address, daytime phone number, and email address. Abstracts and proposals should not exceed 300 words.
Electronic submissions are preferred and should be submitted to Kenneth Steigman, Conference Chair at steigman@unt.edu. If electronic submission is not possible, hard copies should be mailed or faxed to:
