The 2009 Annual Conference of
Texas Society for Ecological Restoration
will be held November 6-8, 2009
San Antonio, Texas
"WATER - Aqua es Vida"
The 14th annual Texas SER Conference is hosted by the Natural Area Parks of San Antonio Parks & Recreation. Presentations should address topics related to restoration, preference given to those relating to the theme of the conference, "Water: Agua es Vida". We wish to explore water, its use and importance in ecological restoration, and the restoration of hydrological systems. More information on abstracts can be found here .
The conference will be held at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, Texas. We will learn of the surrounding area's restoration of hydrological ecosystems through field trips to "Selah", aka Bamberger Ranch, Canyon Lake Gorge, Honey Creek State Natural Area, Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, the San Antonio River, and San Marcos River and springs.
