Networking is a wonderful benefit of Texas SER membership -- bringing together diverse practitioners and enthusiasts to share ideas, experiences and problems. This exchange of knowledge increases the effectiveness of our members state-wide.

Our annual conference is our primary opportunity for bringing members together in a beautiful location to network, share and learn. Typically held during the summer, speakers present papers on restoration theory, projects, education and even art from around Texas. Field trips and social events are key to the conference, allowing members to see active projects in the vicinity of the conference, as well as to meet informally with their peers to discuss restoration.

Practitioner Field Days occur throughout the year -- practitioners around Texas provide insider tours of restoration projects to members. These are great opportunities to see projects up close, ask questions and gain insights into restoration techniques in various parts of the state, each with its own unique environmental parameters and project goals.

COST

Texas SER membership fee is only $15 which supports the Chapter's administration. The Board of Texas SER consists of volunteers who share a passion for furthering ecological restoration in Texas. Members receive a reduced registration fee to the annual conference and practitioner field days which alone make this a good deal.
