Accommodations

University of Victoria Residences

We have a block of rooms set aside for the conference. Please book by April 15th to ensure your accommodation.

Bed & Breakfast Dormitory Bedroom (1 – 14 nights):
Bedrooms in Dormitory buildings come with either 1 or 2 single beds. Shared washroom facilities are located on each floor and are designated by gender. Internet access is available in each bedroom and on every floor there is a central lounge to relax and watch TV. Pay laundry facilities and payphones or courtesy phones are located in or near all buildings.  The 2011 Bed & Breakfast rate was $45.95  (plus taxes) per room per night for a single room and $55.90 (plus taxes) per room per night for a twin room (2 single beds).  The Bed & Breakfast rate includes daily housekeeping.
 
Cluster Unit. :
Similar to an apartment, quad units are self-contained with 4 bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Units come with two washrooms, a separate shower room and each bedroom has one single bed with linens, a desk and dresser. The living room is furnished with a loveseat and coffee table. The kitchen has 2 fridges, stove, dishwasher and dining room table with chairs.  Kitchen supplies are provided in the unit.
The 2011 Daily quad Unit rate was $148.00(plus taxes) per unit per night with no breakfast
 
Food:
The Cadboro Commons dining room (cafeteria style)  is conveniently located in the residence area, within a 5 minute walk from all residence buildings. The dining room serves full hot/cold breakfast, lunch and dinner choices along with a wide variety of snacks and beverages. Included in the 2011 Bed & Breakfast Rate was  a breakfast voucher.  Visit

Hotels

There are a number of hotels around Victoria’s Inner Harbour downtown frequently used by people attending conferences on campus. They are about a 20-minute ride from the University of Victoria Campus

The Inn at Laurel Point

We have a block of rooms set aside at The Inn for the conference. Please book by April 3rd to ensure your accommodation.

The Inn at Laurel Point is offering registrants of Restoration 2012: Beyond Borders a Conference rate of $129 in their Laurel wing (King or Double) and $174 in the Erickson wing Studio suites. Please make your reservations by April 3, 2012, to secure these rates.
