Soil bio-engineering can be used to stabilize eroding slopes.

In this example, an eroding shoreline in the Victoria Inner Harbour was treated with soil bio-engineering in 2007. The first photo shows the pre-treatment conditions, followed by a photo of the site shortly after treatment, and the last photo shows the site 5 months after treatment.
