SER, SCB, and ASM, Offer their Expertise to Move Mexican Wolf Recovery Forward

Posted June 2012

SER, along with the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) and the American Society of Mammalogists (ASM), sent a letter to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on June 20th offering their expertise to the recovery of the highly endangered Mexican Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi). Current recovery efforts are still being guided by a plan from 1982, and the three scientific societies are urging the FWS to resume their recovery planning process for the Mexican wolf, which is a year behind schedule.
