SER programs are designed to advance our mission and advance to the science and practice of ecological restoration.
SER maintains active collaborations with partner organizations and international bodies such as the IUCN, CBD and Ramsar, and produces briefing notes, policy position statements and technical documents like the SER Primer on Ecological Restoration to help inform decision-makers and advocate for the use of appropriate, participatory, and knowledge-based restoration activities. Learn about our global partnerships
SER hosts biennial world conferences to allow academics, practitioners, and students to come together to exchange ideas and information, and participate in workshops, field trips and other educational activities.
The Indigenous Peoples’ Restoration Network (IPRN), Global Restoration Network (GRN), and Community Restoration Network (CRN) are projects of SER and provide a variety of important web-based resources for those interested or involved in restoration programs.
SER offers four distinguished awards to recognize excellence, achievement, innovation and dedication within the field of ecological restoration. Award winners are honored every two years during a special Gala Awards Dinner at the SER World Conference on Ecological Restoration. Find out more and meet our past award winners.
