SER Serves the growing filed of ecological restoration by disseminating guidance and best practices; increasing awareness of and support for restoration among the fields of conservation as well as the general public. A great way to connect, learn and share your expertise is by engaging with one of Chapters, Sections or Student Associations.
Chapters are a great way to add value to your membership. Led by dedicated volunteers, SER Chapters focus on local issues and give members the opportunity meet and work with other restoration professionals and engage in regions around the world.
Sections are organized around a theme rather than a region like SER’s chapters. Similar to chapters, sections are run by a volunteer board and provide SER members with the opportunity to engage and share knowledge on a specific topic related to the field of restoration ecology.
SER’s Student Association Program enables students to come together and connect with both budding and seasoned restoration professionals in SER’s global community. Organized and run entirely by the students themselves, student associations provide a means for students to organize hands-on activities in their own communities and pursue professional development opportunities.
