Kingsley Dixon of SERAustralasia will start off the year with a presentation on global mining restoration, including success stories and emerging technologies.
Craig Beatty of IUCN will discuss the Restoration Opportunities Optimization Tool, software developed by IUCN and The Natural Capital Project that optimizes trade-offs among ecosystem services.
50% of original peatland areas in Finland ave been drained for forestry use. Join Reijo Hokkanen of Parks & Wildlife Finland for this presentation on techniques and monitoring strategies for peatland restoration.

INSR's own Marcello De Vitis will share a presentation on the need for knowledge transfer between stakeholders in seed conservation, research, production, and use.
This presentation by Kaisa Junninen of Parks & Wildlife Finland will address national efforts to restore boreal forests, including prescribed burns, exotic plant removal, and creation of dead wood.
