 Join SER's new Affiliate Program
SER has just inaugurated an Affiliate Program. This program allows non-profits, government organizations and nongovernmental organizations around the world to partner with us as leaders in the worldwide ecological restoration movement. We view our Affiliates as potential collaborators for future projects, from our international conferences to our newest initiative, the Global Restoration Network.
The program is simple: Affiliates receive benefits that are designed to help your organization’s members and staff become more knowledgeable and connected in the global restoration field and keep them informed and on the cutting edge of the latest developments. Some of these benefits include subscriptions to our weekly online e-new bulletin and professional journal, and discounts on our World Conference registration fees. In addition to offering your organization opportunities to save money and become more known in the worldwide restoration field, Affiliates are entitled to special benefits such as an independent Affiliate website (connected to the SER website) and use of the board-approved SER Affiliate logo on your website and letterhead.
Our Affiliates agree to support SER's mission and its goals of educating the field about ecological restoration “best practices,” and the general public about the importance of ecological restoration. Affiliates also agree to adopt, in principle, SER's foundation documents, including:
When the SER International Affiliate logo appears on your letterhead, people will trust that your organization is following the best practices of the field and are closely tied to the world’s leading Society of practitioners, scientists and policy makers in the field of ecological restoration. It is our hope that this mutually beneficial arrangement will help advance your organization’s valuable work as well as help advance the field to a new level of collaboration and success.

The Institute for Regional Conservation is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and long-term management of biodiversity on a regional basis, and to the prevention of regional extinctions of rare plants, animals and ecosystems.
Based in Miami, Florida, USA, IRC works on conservation research and action throughout South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond. Their work is premised on an innovative idea of conservation that seeks to protect and restore viable populations of all plant and animal species within a region, rather than simply focusing on charismatic animals or plants with narrow global ranges.

The Tamarisk Coalition’s mission is to provide education and technical assistance to support riparian restoration. Founded in 2002 and based in Grand Junction, CO, the Tamarisk Coalition collaborates with land managers including federal, tribal, state and local governments, nonprofits, private land owners, industries, corporations and others throughout the western U.S.
The Tamarisk Coalition strives to help land managers facilitate management of tamarisk and associated non-native invasive plants with the ultimate goal of restoring healthy, diverse native-plant ecosystems. The Tamarisk Coalition advances and communicates the state-of-the-science for riparian restoration through education, and helps organizations identify and implement long-term and functional restoration success through policy development and engagement in watershed management actions.
Currently, the Tamarisk Coalition is involved in coordinating watershed planning efforts and assessments, facilitating ecotype specific plant materials development and training, maintaining a resource website, monitoring the tamarisk leaf beetle, inventory and mapping, volunteer programs, and conducting annual research conferences and symposiums.
