Fundraising Resources
for SER Chapter Groups

This section contains a library of links, articles and other resources for SER chapters to use to improve their groups in the area of fundraising.

Association of Fundraising Professionals
www.afpnet.org
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents nearly 28,000 members in more than 190 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.  The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession.

The Center on Philanthropy
www.philanthropy.iupui.edu
The Center's cutting-edge programs and initiatives provide nonprofits, donors and scholars with the resources they need to make a difference. The Center organizes The Fund Raising School, based on Hank Ross's "Achieving Excellence in Fund Raising" principles, as well as the Jossey-Bass Fund Raising School Workbook Series, covering every aspect of a well-rounded fund-raising program.

Global Restoration Network Funding Resources
www.globalrestorationnetwork.org/funding
SER International's GRN website has a special section dedicated to funding resources available for ecological restoration efforts.

Grassroots Fundraising Journal
www.grassrootsfundraising.org
Published every other month for more than 25 years, the Grassroots Fundraising Journal produces much-needed information on how to build successful organizations. Each issue offers practical, how-to instruction on fundraising strategies such as direct mail, special events, major gift campaigns, and online fundraising. We also offer tools to help you build a board of directors that is willing to raise money, choose a database to track donors, manage your time effectively, and ultimately develop a successful fundraising program. The website has great articles and tips, too, from the publication's editor, Kim Klein, author of the reknowned book Fundraising for Social Change.
