Restoration Ecology Journal

Restoration Ecology is SER’s peer-reviewed scholarly journal. It is published quarterly (March-June-September-December) and is distributed by Blackwell Publishing. Members at the Basic level and higher may purchase discounted journal subscriptions with their memberships.

·         Basic and Full members: You are invited to take advantage of discounted subscriptions to Restoration Ecology. The journal’s annual subscription rates are $200 or more, but members are eligible for subscriptions at the discounted rates of $69 (print and online) or $44 (online only).

·         Professional and Organizational members: Your membership includes complimentary subscriptions to Restoration Ecology. Professional members receive 1 print and 1 online subscription, and Organizational members receive 2 print and 5 online subscriptions.

How to Receive Your Print Subscription: Your print subscription order will be processed at the same time as your membership. Please allow up to 12 weeks to receive your first issue of this quarterly journal in the mail, and let us know promptly about any change of mailing address.

How to Access Your Online Subscription: Your online subscription order will be processed at the same time as your membership. Please allow up to 10 business days for your online subscription to be activated, and let us know promptly about any change of email address.

·         Once your subscription is activated, you will need to register at Blackwell Synergy. Go to www.blackwell-synergy.com. Click on 'Register' at the top of the page. Complete the registration page (remembering your choice of Username and Password for later).

·         To access the full text of articles, click on the ‘My Synergy’ button at the top of the page. Click on the ‘Access’ tab. In the Offer Code box, enter your Offer Code: SER and click Continue. In the Last Name box, enter your last name. In the Member ID box, enter this number from your SER ID (e.g., for SER1234 – enter 1234) and click Continue. Your subscription will now be listed on the Journals tab.  You can access your journal from here or directly from the Synergy homepage.

·         To log in to Blackwell Synergy in the future, go to www.blackwell-synergy.com. Enter your Username and Password at the top of the page. Click ‘Login’. Your name will now appear at the top of the homepage. Select the journal you wish to access.  You can choose to view just subscribed journals or all journals alphabetically or by subject, from the drop-down menu.
