Global Restoration Network (GRN)

The Global Restoration Network (GRN) offers the field of ecological restoration a database and web-based portal to trustworthy and hard-to-find information on all aspects of restoration, from historic ecosystems and recent causes of degradation to in-depth case studies and proven restoration techniques. The mission of the GRN is to link restoration projects, research, and practitioners in order to foster the creative exchange of experience, vision and expertise.

Expert Profiles

(available to members at the Basic level and higher)

Experts are encouraged to submit their details to expand and broaden the Global Restoration Network and foster communication and collaboration in the newly emerging field of ecological restoration. Expert submissions are free to SER members at the Basic level and higher. To submit your expert profile(s) to the GRN database, go to www.globalrestorationnetwork.org.

Organization Profiles

(available to members at the Organizational level only)

Organizations are often the backbone of local and regional restoration efforts and thus invited to participate, whether academic institutions, commercial concerns, non-profit organizations or government agencies. Organization submissions are free to SER members at the Organizational level. To submit your organization profile to the GRN database, go to www.globalrestorationnetwork.org.

Case Studies & Published Literature

Case studies are a vital part of the GRN database that will include both successes and failures alike. Books, articles, reports and unpublished materials on ecological restoration and related subjects are needed to offer a diverse and comprehensive bibliography to all users. Academics and practitioners are invited to submit case studies and published literature on restoration projects from around the world. To submit your case studies and published literature to the GRN database, go to www.globalrestorationnetwork.org.
