Details: Two assistantships are available to study the effects of ground cover vegetation and soil amendments on the establishment of native hardwood forest on steep slopes in the Cumberland mountains of Tennessee. Applicants should have a BSc in biology/forestry/plant or soil science/or related degree. Benefits include tuition and a monthly stipend. The University of Tennessee is an equal opportunity employer.
