Restoration of Disturbed Sagebrush Steppe – September 8-9, 2010

Starting in 1976, a large interdisciplinary research project was initiated in the Piceance Basin to evaluate reclamation of areas that were disturbed in a manner similar to the disturbance associated with oil shale extraction.  Over this two day symposium at Colorado State University, researchers will present results and share insights from the last 35 years of studies.  For more information, go to: http://www.ieca.org/coursepdf/co090810.pdf
